Police charge man with arson

OTTAWA — Ottawa Police have charged a man in connection to two small fires set in Kanata on Tuesday.

The fires were set outside a residence in the 100 block of MacNeil Court, near Hazledean and Castlefrank Road.

A rock was also thrown through one of the home’s windows.

Patrick Peck, 22, of Ottawa has been charged with one count of arson and one count of mischief.

Peck was remanded in custody and will appear in court September 9th.
