Shots fired in Alta Vista Monday night

OTTAWA — The Guns and Gangs Unit of Ottawa police has taken over a case of shots fired in Alta Vista Monday night.

Two shots were fired at a woman on Station Boulevard just before 9:30 p.m.

She was not shot. Investigators recovered one shell casing from a handgun at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
