Drunk woman attacks paramedics

OTTAWA — A drunk woman has been charged with assault after attacking paramedics early Saturday morning.

Just after 12:30 a.m., the woman was involved in a fight outside the Diablos bar on Montreal Road, and fell down a sidewalk, bumping her head.

Paramedics were then called by a police officer to treat her, and during the loading she kicked a paramedic and had to be restrained.

She also tried to kick the same paramedic as they unloaded her into Montfort hospital.
