Vanier Parkway rapid bridge replacement this weekend

OTTAWA – Expect traffic tie ups on Highway 417 this weekend, as the Vanier Parkway overpass will be replaced.

The Queensway will be closed near the Vanier Parkway and Riverside exit, as well as between Coventry and Tremblay Roads for the rapid bridge replacement.

Lane reductions will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday. The section of highway will be fully closed to through traffic between 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.

The roadway should be fully reopened by 5 a.m. Monday.
