CIBC Run for the Cure raises more than $1 million in Ottawa

OTTAWA – The 23rd annual CIBC Run for the Cure hit Ottawa streets Sunday.

More than 7,000 participants gathered at Tunny’s Pasture for the largest single-day event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research in Canada.

The event, which featured both a 1k and 5k, raised more than $1 million for breast cancer research.
