Two people charged in distraction thefts

OTTAWA – Two people are facing charges in connection to distraction thefts in the city.
On April 16, a man and woman entered a Richmond Road business and stole money from behind the counter while the clerk was distracted, while a similar incident occurred April 21 at a business on Gladstone Avenue.
Brandon Langlois, 23 and Deavyne Guertin, 22, are charged with two counts of theft under $5,000.
Meantime, police are still looking for two men in connection to a number of distraction thefts involving seniors around the province, including Ottawa, Toronto, Kingston and Waterloo.
The men are described as:
-Latin American
-20-35-years-old
-about 5’10” tall
