Police probe second shooting in 24 hours

OTTAWA – A man was shot Monday evening near Merivale and Baseline.
It happened around 5:30 p.m., and the man was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are searching for two suspects.
The first suspect was seen carrying a handgun and is described as:
– Black
– Between 20 and 25-years-old
– 5’6″
The second suspect is described as:
– Middle eastern
– 25-years-old
– Brown hair
The incident was the second shooting of the day, with another downtown injuring a teenaged boy after he was shot in the back around 3 p.m.
