Ottawa man charged with sexual assault, child abuse

OTTAWA – An Ottawa man is facing sexual assault charges in connection to alleged incidents over the summer.

Police began an investigation last week after they received information a child under the age of 14 was assaulted at a Centretown home.

Investigators with Ottawa Police’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section have charged Harley Oleksuik, 38, with sexual assault, sexual exploitation, and sexual interference.

Police are concerned there may be more victims.

Police are concerned there could be other victims and are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
