Man charged after pornographic items left in park

An Ottawa man is facing charges after someone left odd items — some of them pornographic — on picnic tables near play structures in a park.
People in the Edge Hill Park neighbourhood, in the 1200 block of Ridgemont Avenue, told police they were finding pornographic magazines and used condoms in plain view between last December and this month.
Surveillance was put in place, and at 1:00am on May 25, a man was spotted leaving items in the park, and was arrested.
Yannick Sabourin, 38, of Ottawa is charged with one count of mischief and one count of indecent acts.
He’s been released, with a promise to appear at a later date.
