Two men badly injured in baseball bat attack

OTTAWA — An attack with a baseball bat has sent two men to hospital with serious head injuries — one of them in critical condition.

Paramedics tell 1310 NEWS they were called to an apartment on St. Patrick Street, just after 2 a.m., Friday, where they found two 23-year-old men who had been beaten over the head.

One of the men was taken to hospital in critical condition. The other was in serious condition.

Ottawa Police say no arrests have been made so far, and there are no suspects.
