The Weather Network is out with its fall forecast and winter preview.
On average, can expect a warm fall, as the late summer weather lingers right across the country.
Dayna Vattese with the Weather Network told 1310 NEWS, we have some time before we see that first taste of winter.
“We expect things to start to turn, and maybe get an early taste of winter – (I don’t want to scare anybody) – but maybe just an early taste of winter as we head into November.”
We can also expect our fair share of fall storms over the next three months, with precipitation totals expected to be normal or above normal.
As for winter, get ready for the cold.
Temperatures are expected to be below normal for the Ottawa area.
“Early indications are showing us that we can expect temperatures for the Ottawa region to be slightly below normal,” Dayna said.
Dayna say it’s too early to give snow estimates, so stay tuned for the Weather Network’s winter forecast, coming in November.
