‘Forcible Confinement’ incident on Highway 416

OTTAWA–Ottawa OPP investigating what’s being called a “forcible confinement” incident yesterday, involving a passenger in a car on Highway 416.
Police have said very little about the case, except that a 24-year old Ottawa man was behind the wheel, and would not let a female passenger out of the car when she asked.
Officers from the Ottawa and Kemptville detachments stopped the car on the highway.
No word on an arrest or if any charges were laid.
Police say only the investigation is ongoing.
