Poppy campaign under way

Tens of thousands of volunteers are distributing poppies in the days leading up to Remembrance Day.
More than 1,400 branches of the Royal Canadian Legion participate in the annual fundraiser. In 2014, $17 million raised by the poppy campaign was distributed to veterans across the country.
Volunteers hope to surpass the totals raised in previous years.
Poppies can be found at numerous retailers around the capital, or at your local Legion branch.
