OTTAWA – The City of Ottawa has decided to scrap the ‘Where is My Plow’ app this winter.
The web tool was designed to provide an estimate of the time a snow plow would arrive on your residential street.
However, the app was plagued by problems and didn’t give accurate reports.
The real-time tracking technology will still be used internally by the City of Ottawa Roads Branch.
The ‘Where is My Plow’ app was launched last winter as a pilot project.
