OTTAWA – There are no injuries after a fire in Vars.
Crews were called to 530 Sabourin Road around the supper hour Wednesday after a 911 call from the owner reporting visible flames under the floor of an attached garage.
There were propane tanks inside the garage and a large fuel tank on the side of the structure, and when crews arrived, they could see smoke coming between the walls and eaves.
The fire was under control just after 7 p.m. and caused under 50K damage.
