Police probe two shootings

OTTAWA – Police are probing two shootings in the city.
Police responded to a shooting at 20 Kentsdale in the Centrepointe area around 6 p.m. Thursday.
A 23-year-old man had been shot and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The guns and gangs unit has been called in to investigate.
Meantime, police were called to Kilborn Avenue just after 1 a.m. for reports of gunfire.
Police have arrested seven men — four on Kilborn Avenue and another three near Bank Street and Riverside Drive.
1310 NEWS reporter Jason White is on that scene this morning, where police tell him the men aren’t considered suspects at this point.
