Listeria concerns prompt ice cream recall

Some desserts that were sold in Ontario are being recalled due to possible Listeria contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced earlier this month that Central Smith Creamery was recalling its Wholesome Farms brand of strawberry sundae cups in 115 millilitre packages.

The agency now says more varieties are being recalled, including 115 millilitre vanilla, sugar-free vanilla, butterscotch, orange sherbet, lime sherbet and chocolate sundae cups.

It says those flavours — sold in packs of 48 — are also affected.

The affected products were also sold in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
