Sir Roger Moore, best known for portraying James Bond, has died.
He was 89.
In a statement, Moore’s family announced he died Tuesday in Switzerland, after “a short but brave battle with cancer.”
Moore starred in movies, television shows and was passionate in his work for UNICEF, which his family says he considered to be his greatest achievement.
A private funeral will be held in Monaco, in accordance with Moore’s best wishes.
