Police seek witnesses, video to Monday murder on Rideau Street

OTTAWA–Ottawa Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward in connection with the investigation into the murder of Ashton Dickson.

Dickson, 25, died of gunshot wounds early Monday morning.

There was reportedly a dispute over a washroom queue at the Mingle Room Bar and Lounge on Rideau Street.

Major Crime detectives want to talk to anyone who was inside or outside the bar, and are asking anyone with pictures or video to email them to police at info@ottawapolice.ca

Tips and information can also be passed on anonymously through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS)

Police have made no arrests in the killing, which is 6th murder in the Capital in 2017.
