OTTAWA — A Barrhaven man is still recovering from a beating on his way home from Bluesfest, Thursday night, that left him with a broken jaw.
Adam Farsijani, 21, tells Postmedia that he got into a verbal dispute with two men he knows on an OC Transpo bus, while on his way home from seeing Atlanta hip hop trio Migos perform at Bluesfest. He says the two men beat him before fleeing the bus at Fallowfield station.
His injuries were so serious, the hospital wired Farsijani’s jaw shut after two fractures were found in his jaw. He says he still has headaches and has been unable to return to work.
Farsijani’s mother is upset that other passengers on the bus recorded video of the attack but that none came to her son’s aid.
Farsijani described the two men as acquaintances from the neighbourhood, and has given their names to police, but says they’re still at-large.
Police tell the paper that they’ve seen video of the incident and that they are still investigating.
