No injuries in Orleans fire

OTTAWA – Ottawa Fire Services tackled a blaze in Orleans Thursday evening.

Crews responded to 6236 Paddler Way shortly before 7 p.m., after several calls from neighbours reporting black smoke coming from the back of the home.

A working fire was declared when crews arrived and an aggressive attack was initiated.

Fire conditions worsened and additional crews responded to the scene.

There are no injuries reported.

A damage estimate has not been made available and there is no word yet on the cause.
