Nine people displaced by west end fire

OTTAWA – An overnight fire has left nine people without a place to stay.
Shortly after 2:30 a.m., fire crews responded to multiple 911 calls reporting smoke in a third floor unit at 1136 Clyde Avenue.
The fire was under control by 3 a.m. and there were no injuries.
Victim services has been called in to help those who have been displaced.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire, or a damage estimate.
