Jonathan Pitre admitted to hospital for high fever

OTTAWA – Jonathan Pitre has been admitted to hospital due to a high fever.

His mother Tina Boileau tweeting that they are waiting for test results to see what is causing the fever, and their fingers are crossed for a short stay.

Last week, Pitre, now 17, was released from the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, where he has undergone two stem cell transplants to ease the pain of his rare skin condition, EB Simplex.
