One killed, three injured in Calabogie Road crash

BURNSTOWN, Ont. — A Renfrew County teen is dead and three others are injured following an early morning crash south of Burnstown.

OPP have identified the victim as Brandon Thomas Hanniman, 18, of Admaston Bromley Township.

Hanniman was a member of the Renfrew Timberwolves, of the CCHL.

Renfrew County OPP and fire crews responded to a 911 call just after midnight Friday about the crash on Calabogie Road.

Police say there were four 18-year-olds in the car, and some had been thrown from the vehicle.

Hanniman died at the scene, and three others were taken to hospital — one in critical condition — by ORNGE Air Ambulance.

Investigators would like anyone who may have information on the crash to contact them, including anyone who may have seen or spoken to the teens on Thursday evening.
