No injuries in south end fire

OTTAWA – Fire crews knocked down a blaze in the south end Monday.
Around 7:40 a.m., crews responded to a single-dethatched house at 3225 Uplands Drive, at Paul Anka drive, for a fire in the attic.
Three people had made it out of the home safely when crews arrived on scene and there were no injuries reported.
The fire was quickly brought under control and a fire investigator has been called in.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire or a damage estimate.
