All clear given in Sandy Hill gas leak

OTAWA – There was a gas leak in Sandy Hill overnight.

The leak happened on Nelson Street, near Somerset Street East, around 10:30 p.m., forcing the evacuation of a few homes.

Ottawa Police tell 1310 NEWS, about 25 people were displaced from their homes for about an hour.

The leak has since been capped and everyone was allowed back into their homes.
