No injuries in Carp house fire

OTTAWA – One person has been left without a place to stay after a fire in Carp overnight.

Around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, fire crews responded to a 911 call reporting a fire at 408 Donald B. Munro Dr.

The fire was under control shortly before 2:15 a.m. There is no word yet on a cause or a damage estimate.

This marks the second fire on that road this week.

Just before 1:30 p.m. Sunday, crews responded to a fire at Star Fashion Cleaners at 449 Donald B. Munro Dr.

The fire was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries.
