Charges laid in series of November bank robberies

OTTAWA – Police have laid charges again two people in connection to a number of bank robberies.
Police were investigating a total of eight bank robberies that happened through the month of November, all over the city.
On November 30, police arrested two people separately.
A 26-year-old man has been charged in connection to all eight robberies. He faces 13 counts of robbery, eight counts of wearing a disguise and six counts of breaching parole.
The man, whose name is being withheld, was also wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his parole.
He appeared in court last week and is being held in custody. His next court date is set for Friday.
Crystal Trudel, 27 of Ottawa, is facing charges in connection to one of the robberies, on November 7, at a local pharmacy. She faces charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
