Police charge three people with drug offences

OTTAWA – Police have charged three people following a drug investigation.

The charges stem from a two-month investigation involving the distribution of cocaine and other controlled substances in the city.

Police also seized 2.35 kg of cocaine, 155 Xanax pills, 25 grams of marijuana, five methamphetamine pills and approximately $20,000 in cash.

Reyan Abdulkader, Mouhamed Sheran and Kerren Hagos face charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule two substance and possession of proceeds of crime.

They are all 23-years-old Ottawa residents.
