An Aylmer daycare operator has been found guilty of assaulting a toddler in her care.
Tracy Lee Wesley has been found guilty of choking a two-year-old child in November of 2016.
The child's sister told her mother about what had happened when she picked them up from the daycare on the day of the incident.
According to the CBC, Wesley claimed innocence in the case, suggesting that red marks photographed on the child's neck came from putting on a jacket or having her sweater pulled on.
However, the judge decided that her version of the events simply didn't add up.
Wesley will be sentenced at a later date.
