An arson investigator will look into the cause of a fire in a home in Orleans' Chapel Hill neighbourhood that was the scene of two previous suspicious fires.
The fire began around 6 a.m. Thursday at the home, on Page Road near Innes. Firefighters attacked the fire from the exterior, as the structure had already been compromised by a suspicious fire in January.
The home had been rebuilt after a previous suspicious fire, in 2015.
The home was unoccupied and had no hydro at the time of this morning's fire. Ottawa Fire tells 1310 NEWS, while the Ottawa Police Arson Unit and the Ontario Fire Marshall have both been called in to probe the fire, it hasn't yet been determined whether in fact it was suspicious.
