Church fire in Little Italy

The Ottawa Fire Service is working to douse hot spots after a blaze at St. Anthony's Church on Booth Street at Gladstone Avenue.

According to officials, the fire has been declared out, however both roads are expected to be remain closed for some time.

There has been no word on any possible injuries or what started the fire just after 3 p.m., Tuesday.

A damage estimate will be made available after investigators are able to assess the scene.
