Foo Fighters expected to draw largest Bluesfest crowd of the year

One of the biggest acts in rock music will take the stage tonight at Bluesfest, and organizers ask concert-goers to travel light in order to get through security more quickly.

The Foo Fighters are scheduled to take the main stage at 8 p.m. Bluesfest organizers expect the show will draw the festival's largest crowds of the year, and ask people to arrive early.

Tweaks have been made to the entrance gates, to try to eliminate the lengthy delays last Thursday night that prompted a flood of complaints on social media, but organizers still ask for people's help to speed up the lines.

Bags larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ will not be permitted onto the grounds. Smaller bags are allowed, but Bluesfest staff ask people to leave as much at home as they can, to ensure quick passage through the security checkpoints.
