Firefighters battle kitchen fire at Preston Street Starbucks

There was a kitchen fire Friday night at the Starbucks in the Preston Square Complex in Little Italy .
Ottawa Fire Services responded to a call from the alarm company which reported an active fire alarm at 347 Preston St.
Fire crews were deployed to the coffee shop where they found an active blaze in the kitchen.
Firefighters had the fire under control by 10:30 p.m. It was fully extinguished by 11 p.m.
No one was in the building at the time, and no injuries were reported.
An Ottawa Fire Investigator is on scene to determine the cause of the blaze.
