Pedestrian rushed to hospital after Terry Fox Drive collision

A man, believed to be in his 60's, is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle in Kanata.

According to Ottawa Paramedics, the collision happened on Terry Fox Drive at Hazeldean Road just after 3:30 p.m., Friday.

The man was said to be bleeding quite heavily before being rushed to the Ottawa Hospital's trauma centre.

The Ottawa Police Service is investigating the crash, but there are no closures.
