Arrests made after OPP find cocaine, meth, pot, weapons in South Stormont

Four people are facing multiple charges after two separate OPP search warrants carried out in South Stormont.
The first raid happened on Eligh-Beckstead Road on October 2, where officers uncovered marijuana, cocaine and meth.
A stolen 2015 Polaris 570 Side by Side ATV was also recovered. It had been reported stolen a couple weeks earlier, taken from a property on Hunter's Road.
On October 9, SD&G OPP arrested and charged Scotty Summers, 27, of South Stormont Township with:
– Possession of Property obtained by crime over $5,000
– Possession of a controlled substance (4 counts)
– Fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance (5 counts)
He was held in custody pending and appearance in a Cornwall court.
The Community Street Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team, Tactical Rescue Unit and Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP officers then executed a search warrant at a property on County Road 18, on October 4.
There, officers seized marihuana, hash oil, weapons (long guns), ammunition, brass knuckles and Canadian currency.
Melissa Brooks, 22, of South Stormont was arrested and charged with;
– Produce a control substance
– Possession of Proceeds of Property obtained by crime – over $5,000
– Possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking
– Possession of controlled substance
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm
– Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition (2 counts)
She was released and scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on November 15.
Brandon Meldrum, 27, of South Stormont was arrested and charged with;
– Produce a control substance
– Possession of Proceeds of Property obtained by crime – over $5,000
– Possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking
– Possession of controlled substance
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm
– Unauthorized possession of a weapon
– Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition (2 counts)
He was released and scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on November 15.
Ralph Meldrum, 58, of South Stormont was arrested and charged with;

– Possession of Proceeds of Property obtained by crime – over $5,000
– Possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking
– Possession of controlled substance
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm
– Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition (2 counts)
He was released and scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on November 15.
