Fourth suspect arrested and more charges laid in violent South Stormont robbery

A 49-year-old Cornwall man is facing a number of charges, including aggravated assault, after an incident at a home on Collins Road, between Chesterville and Lunenburg.
Police say suspects, armed and wearing disguises, broke into the house and assaulted the two adult victims with a weapon, Thursday, December 6, at 12:16 a.m.
The suspects stole items from the house before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Officers responding to the call found the vehicle a short distance away with three people inside.
Dennis Gowan, 55, of Cornwall, was arrested and has since been charged with;
– Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
– Drive a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Robbery
– Take motor vehicle without consent
– Break and enter
Blake Woods, 25 of Cornwall, was arrested and has since been charged with;
– Robbery
– Assault Cause bodily harm
– Assault with weapon
– Break and enter
– Fail to comply with conditions of a undertaking
– Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order
– Mischief under $5000
– Disguise with intent
– Utter threats
Clarissa Square, 25, of Cornwall, was arrested and charged with;
– Robbery
– Break and enter
OPP arrested a fourth suspect on Wednesday, December 12.
Edward Hall, 49, of Cornwall, was arrested and charged with:
– Robbery
– Aggravated Assault (2 counts)
– Assault with weapon
– Break and enter (2 counts)
– Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order (2 counts)
– Disguise with intent
– Overcome resistance by attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle another person
Hall was held in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
The two break-in and assault victims were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and have since been released.
