A popular Wellington West restaurant went up in flames early Friday morning.

There were heavy flames when crews arrived and fire fighters went on a defensive attack.
One woman and a child have been left homeless by the blaze and the Salvation Army and Canadian Red Cross were called in to offer assistance.
No injuries were reported.
There is no word on a cause at this time and a fire investigator has been called to investigate.
