Aggravated assault among charges laid in Dynes Road stabbing

The Ottawa Police Service is charging a man in relation to a stabbing on Dynes Road, just southeast of Baseline Road at Fisher Avenue.

The incident happened on Saturday, March 9, around 1 a.m.

An arrest was made Thursday, March 14. 

Khaled Maayteh, 20, of Ottawa, has been charged with:

• Aggravated assault
• Unlawfully in a dwelling
• Possession weapon dangerous 

Maayteh appeared in court Friday morning.
