Three teens arrested in Billings Bridge area stabbing

A trio of 19-year-olds are facing charges in connection with a stabbing at an apartment building on Bank Street, near Billings Bridge.
Officers were called to the area on Thursday, April 11, around 4:20 p.m.
An 18-year-old victim was found inside a store near the scene of the stabbing, was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation led to identifying three suspects. Investigators and frontline officers later arrested the three they were looking for.
Hussein Bassal, 19, of Ottawa, is charged with:
- Assault with a weapon (2 counts)
- Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence
- Possession of a weapon (2 counts)
- Assault cause bodily harm
- Administer noxious thing with intent
- Fail to comply with a probation order (2 counts)
- Fail to comply with a recognizance
Moustafa Assi, 19, of Ottawa, is charged with:
- Assault
- Compiracy to commit an indictable offence
Reza Montazer, 19, of Ottawa, is charged with:
- Assault
- Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence
All three accused were in court, Friday.
Investigators are still looking to speak to any witness that was in the area of the stabbing.
