Motorcyclist injured in Longfields Drive crash

A single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle has closed a section of Longfields Drive in Barrhaven, and sent one person to hospital.

The crash happened just before 4 a.m., Monday, on Longfields Drive.

Ottawa paramedics told 1310 NEWS that one person was taken to hospital with a “major trauma.”

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

Police said they expected Longfields Drive to be closed, between Golflinks Drive and Prince of Wales, for several hours.
