Mayor Jim Watson to celebrate reduced patio permits

Mayor Jim Watson will join others in soaking up the sun on a patio in New Edinburgh Monday.

Mayor Watson is making good on an campaign promise he made during re-election.

Last September, the Mayor vowed to reduce those fees by 50 per cent to help local businesses deal with rising costs.

The promise became a reality in this year's budget.
