Partial lane closures on Sir George-Etienne Cartier Parkway to start the work week

By Mike Vlasveld

Alternating lane closures are expected on the Sir George-Etienne Cartier Parkway, Monday.

Sections of the eastbound and westbound lanes on the parkway, between St. Joseph Boulevard and the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, will be closed, alternately from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., to repair asphalt.

Flag people will control traffic in the open lane of the parkway during the work.

Some sections of the multi-use pathway in the area will also be closed during the work.

The National Capital Commission asks motorists, cyclists and pedestrians to exercise caution, respect working crews and equipment, and obey signage and flag people on-site.
