Canada Day 2019 road closures in the Capital Region
There are many road closures around the city for Canada Day, especially in the downtown core. Streets around Parliament Hill, the ByWard Market, Major Hill's Park, Jacques Cartier Park and the Alexandra Bridge will close to traffic starting at 6:00 a.m.
Due to large crowds downtown, plan to arrive very early in order to proceed through security screening areas to Parliament Hill.
OC Transpo buses will be free all day.
