Police identify Ottawa’s latest homicide victim in Canada Day shooting

Ottawa police have identified the victim of the city's latest shooting. 

Ryan Kabuya-Ntumba, 21, was shot near George and Dalhousie Streets around 3 a.m. Monday morning. 

He was located by police officers who were in the area as part of an increased police presence initiative.

Kabuya-Ntumba died later in hospital. 

There are no suspects in custody.
