OC Transpo is looking to help anyone still trying to figure out how they'll get to and from LeBreton Flats for this year's RBC Bluesfest.
It's offering free and direct travel to anyone with a Bluesfest ticket.
Buses will be available to concert-goers three hours before gates open and two hours after the event wraps up on the date or dates for which their ticket is valid.
For those riding O-Train Line 2, there is expected to be signage or OC Transpo staff on hand to help get passengers through the fare gates.
Fourteen routes are set to provide direct service to and from LeBreton Station (Routes 16, 44, 61, 62, 63, 64, 85, 86, 87, 91, 94, 95, 97 and 98) as well as nearby O-Train Line 2, the Trillium Line. Parking is available at OC Transpo Park & Ride lots across the city at no charge.
Additional trips are scheduled at the beginning of the evening so that festival-goers can get to the venue as quickly as possible. Between 11 p.m. and 11:45 p.m., extra trips will be added to Rapid routes departing LeBreton Station to accommodate the crowds leaving at the end of the night.
O-Train Line 2 will also operate more frequently in the late evening Monday through Saturday, and will have extended service until midnight on Sundays during Bluesfest.
OC Transpo says Route 44 may experience minor detours and delays in the LeBreton Flats area during Bluesfest.
Para Transpo will also provide direct service to and from Bluesfest. Registered customers using this service also need to show their ticket, card, key fob or bracelet to the bus operator when being picked up.
