Purple fentanyl, heroin, crack cocaine uncovered in downtown Ottawa drug bust

Three Ottawa men are are facing drug-related charges after police executed a search warrant on Laurier Avenue West, between Lyon Street and Kent Street.

A police operation, Thursday at 12:35 p.m., resulted in the seizure of fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, xanax, crack cocaine, MDMA as well as over $6,000 in Canadian currency, three cell phones, three scales and drug packaging materials. 

Officers say the most troubling discovery was that the crack cocaine appeared to have been contaminated with purple fentanyl.

All drugs are still to be analyzed by Health Canada.

Michael Judge, 38, of Ottawa, is charged with: 

McIntosh and Valiquette are scheduled to appear in court Friday morning. Judge is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
