Ottawa’s Country 101.1 named Canada’s best large market country music radio station

It's been a dream weekend for the team at Ottawa's Country 101.1, as it was honoured multiple times at the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards in Calgary.

On Friday, the station's Program and Music Director Amanda Labelle-Kingsland recieved her fourth consecutive Music Director of the Year award.

Rogers Media then won Country Program or Special of the Year for its 'Girl Power Hour,' a daily radio show devoted to female artists and their music and a creation of Labelle-Kingsland's.

Saturday, the weekend was topped off when Country 101.1 was revealed as the CCMA's choice for Radio Station of the Year (Large Market).
