Teen facing charges in Glebe break and enter

The Ottawa Police Service has arrested an 18-year-old in relation to a break-in on Powell Avenue in The Glebe.

Officers were called to the area between Bank Street and Lyon Street at 6:20 a.m., Thursday, for a break and enter in progress.

At the scene, officers started to investigate and found a suspicious man, began to chase the suspect and eventually arrested him.

Daniel Steven Garvin, of Ottawa, is charged with:

Break and enter (2 counts)
YCJA breach

Garvin will attend show cause court, Thursday.
