Suspect wanted in Barrhaven LCBO robbery and assault with weapon
The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public's help in identifying someone believed to be resposible for a robbery and assault on Riocan Avenue in Barrhaven.
Investigators say a man walked into an LCBO on January 4, around 10:33 p.m., put a bottle under his coat and walked out of the building. An employee confronted the man and police say the suspect then took the bottle out and struck the employee on the forehead with it.
The man then fled the scene on foot.

The employee was not seriously injured.
The suspect is described as:
- Middle Eastern
- Average build
- 5' 8'' (173 cm)
- Black brush cut hair
- Moustache and a partial beard
- Was wearing a black trench coat over a black shirt, tan pants and black shoes
- Had a large gold-coloured choker necklace on
- Spoke English
